Privacy Policy — Cuty AI

1. Who we are. Cuty AI operates the website at cuty-ai.net and the companion chat experience offered through it. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
2. Scope of this policy. It covers every page of cuty-ai.net and every conversation held with a Cuty AI companion. It does not cover third-party websites you reach by leaving ours.
3. Account information. When you create a Cuty AI account we store an email address, a display name if you choose one, and an encrypted password or a sign-in token from your provider.
4. Age confirmation. Cuty AI is for adults only. We record the fact that you confirmed being 18 or older, along with the date of that confirmation.
5. Conversation data. Messages you exchange with a companion are stored so the chat can continue across sessions. They are linked to your account and are not published anywhere.
6. Companion memory notes. Cuty AI derives short summaries of your chats — names, preferences, ongoing topics — so a companion can refer back to them. You can clear these notes at any time.
7. Payment details. Card numbers never reach our servers. Payments run through a regulated processor that returns only a token, the amount, and the result of the transaction.
8. Technical data. We log IP address, browser type, device category, language and referring page. This data keeps the service secure and helps us fix faults.
9. Cookies we set. Cuty AI uses cookies to keep you signed in, remember interface preferences and measure aggregate traffic. Non-essential cookies are only set with your consent.
10. Analytics. Aggregate usage statistics tell us which pages are read and where people leave. Reports are grouped and are not used to build profiles of individuals.
11. Legal grounds for processing. We process data to perform our contract with you, to meet legal obligations, on the basis of your consent for optional features, and for our legitimate interest in a safe service.
12. How long we keep data. Account and conversation data is kept while your account is active. After closure it is deleted within 30 days except where law requires a longer period.
13. Deleting conversations. You can delete an individual chat or your entire history from account settings. Deleted conversations are removed from live systems immediately and from backups on the next cycle.
14. Closing your account. Closing a Cuty AI account removes your profile, companion memory notes and message history according to the retention rules above.
15. Who can access data internally. Access is restricted to a small number of staff who need it for support, billing or abuse investigation, and every access is logged.
16. Service providers. We use vetted providers for hosting, email delivery, payment processing and error monitoring. Each is bound by contract to process data only on our instructions.
17. No sale of personal data. Cuty AI does not sell, rent or trade personal data or conversation content to advertisers, brokers or any other third party.
18. International transfers. Data may be processed in countries outside your own. Where that happens we rely on standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
19. Security measures. We use encryption in transit and at rest, hashed credentials, network isolation and regular review of access rights.
20. Breach notification. If a breach is likely to affect your rights we will notify you and the competent supervisory authority without undue delay.
21. Your access rights. You may ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, in a portable format, free of charge once per year.
22. Correction and erasure. You may correct inaccurate data or request erasure of data we no longer need for a lawful purpose.
23. Objection and restriction. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests, or ask us to restrict processing while a dispute is resolved.
24. Withdrawing consent. Where processing rests on consent you can withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out beforehand.
25. Automated decisions. Cuty AI does not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you using automated processing alone.
26. Marketing messages. Promotional email is optional and every message contains a one-click unsubscribe link. Service and billing notices are separate and cannot be switched off.
27. Children. The service is not directed at minors and we do not knowingly collect their data. Accounts found to belong to minors are closed and their data deleted.
28. Third-party links. Pages on cuty-ai.net may link elsewhere. Once you follow such a link the receiving site's own policy applies.
29. Changes to this policy. Material changes are announced on this page and, where the change affects your rights, by email before they take effect.
30. Complaints. If you believe we have handled your data improperly you may complain to your local data protection authority, and we ask that you contact us first so we can put it right.
